The front fascia you can see needs repair of some new and replacement of wood about 12ft to secured over the opening and then painted white. The side of her house has a port with a trailer that has falling ceiling that needs to be lifted and secured. They need 3-4 heavy duty weed eater or rent a brush hog for a few hours. We're not sure what debris is under the overgrowth so it needs to be cut down before using a mower. This project will take about 4 hours for a group of 5-6 volunteers.

Denise is a Vet who is living in a mobile home that has been damaged from the hurricanes last year. The siding on the outside of the mobile home has been ripped off and she has been cited by code enforcement. She needs someone to help her put new siding back on her mobile home. Install 3 siding panels 20ft and 2 siding panels 15 ft. Lowes sells these panels 10ft for $13 and you would need 9-10 of them. She also had half of her roof rip off from the hurricanes and had a handyman reattach it but it leaks every time it rains. She needs someone install the metal roof panels but this work is beyond CareFest (volunteer work) and if you know of someone with the skill to install metal roof panel please contact us! The damaged roof has cause water to enter her mobile home and damaged her ceilings ( 2 holes). She needs a group to repair her ceiling. One drywall or sheetrock and some mud should be enough to repair her ceiling. Lastly her A/C needs to be inspected because it running but little to no air is flowing out of the floor vents. She may just need an air duct cleaning but doesn't know. She paid for an A/C company to service but they didn't fix or give her a report on what the problem was. If you know an trustworthy A/C company that can inspect her A/C unit and air ducts to give a report or even do the work for this Vet that would be a blessing! The actual scope of work for this CareFest project: Install siding panels for the mobile home and repairing the 2 ceiling holes with sheetrock. Mr. Wolff works and McDill Air Force Base and is frustrated that the City Code Enforcement gave him violations. He can't afford a contractor and not really sure what he is going to do. Take a look at the pictures below because we know a small group of volunteers can help bring his house back to a look that will relieve him of the violations. The violations is the dirt, mildew, algae, on the side of the house and fascia is a violation. As well as some wood deteriorating. The work would be to pressure wash the house to remove dirt and mold. Get wood plastic patch for a few minor holes and then white minor paint touch ups for the border. If a group wants to also knock out the front yard that would be a blessing! The backyard is a later job Mr. Wolff is going to have someone tackle and wants to resolve the Code Violations. The hurricanes last year ripped up Miss Terrie's (76) fencing in the back yard and a mango tree fell. She has gone out to try her best to clean up and repair her fence but is unable to. The City Code Enforcement notified her that she needs to restore her property. Help this elderly woman by cleaning up her backyard and cutting her grass. Miss Webber was referred by Code Enforcement due to her falling fence. You can see items leaning against her fence and she sells things online for income. Our Evaluator says her fence can be rebuilt but it would need to be done as you go... Materials 2X4X8 and 4X4X8 posts and fence panels to fill gaps of around 40-50ft which is about 5-6 panels. It's estimated that 3 volunteers could complete in a day if the panels were at the house. The bamboo and brush would need to be cut back and all the items leaning against the fence brought to center backyard. There is an empty field by the house. Beyond the fence Miss Webber is suffering with leaking sinks in her kitchen and bathroom. She has the water off in those areas. The kitchen needs a p-trap and if possible a double sink, the bathroom needs a new faucet with it leaking at the shut off valve. You can see in the pictures the status and that there has been a lot of caulk to seal the leaks. We estimate that 2-3 volunteers can resolve this in 3-4 hours. This would be an excellent project for a group of 8-10 to take on and help this woman in need.

City code enforcement told Miss Cara that her oak tree needs to be cut back, away from the sidewalk. She lost her job and was told to cut back the tree would be $1,000. She told me, with a heavy heart, that her home is know for having two different colors and is a landmark as the two toned house when given directions. For this project the yard will need extensive cleaning to be completed before the house is painted at a later date. All items going to the trash can be gathered and placed along the street for pickup, there will need to be 3 separate piles (anything not going to the street will be marked by the owner ). 1. debris 2. trash bags with weeds and trimmings 3. Large tree trimmings. The yard clean up along the fence should include weed whacking (2 weed whackers minimum) small invasive trees/shrubs to be cut away from the fence and house (several large pruners and small chain saw will be needed. The tree has very large branches hanging down blocking the sidewalk and yard, the large branches can be cut back a little at a time using a power pole chain saw keeping volunteers safe. (no ladder is needed as these branches hang very low) I would have 2 chain saws for cutting the branches into smaller pieces. A wheel barrel will make it easier to haul the wood to the street. Yard work will take estimated 8-10 volunteers 4-5 hours.

For this project the small bathroom needs painting, Mary wants one wall in the bedroom and one wall in the living room to be painted, Mary had a sample of the paint. I would recommend painting all walls in the front room as the new paint won't match the existing even though the paint will be new. Mary would like the inside cleaned and dusted. It is currently in good condition but since her back injury these things have not been cleaned. Cleaning would include mopping floors, vacuuming all carpet and dusting ceiling fans, framed wall pictures, tables etc.. The sink sprayer needs a better sprayer there is water going to the sprayer but will not spray. Mary can pay for paint and sink sprayer. Estimated 4 volunteers 4-5 hours to complete.

For this project it will be a lot of yard work. I would suggest a minimum of 2 weed eaters... hoping for three. (A lawn mower might be to dangerous as it looks like a lot of hidden debris in the tall grass. Jeanie would like the small branches and leaves removed from the roof, a tall ladder will be needed. There are lots of empty planters/pots that she would like to have placed in one spot, there are many places in the back yard. I suggest flipping them over to eliminate mosquito breeding. The wood deck is rotten and needs replacements. Jeanie can support the wood deck project with up to 100.00 dollars for supplies. If the yard and plants are the only things completed for this project Jeanie will be very grateful! Labor— 4 volunteers for the yard and 2 for the deck.
