Ms. Vicky's wood ramp is old and needs to be repaired. She needs a ramp handrail reinforced as well as two weak spots where you can feel the wood sagging when you walk on it. She also needs some weatherstripping on the door frame of the front door. Estimate 4 volunteers can complete this in 3 hours.

Ms. Constance has several minor things at her home that she is unable to do. 1. She would like to have 2 closet doors installed (She will buy the doors). 2. She would like someone to put up curtains at one window. 3. There is a leak under her kitchen sink that she needs repaired. Our evaluator believe refastening the pipe connection with plumbers tape will stop the leak. 4. She would like for a sink to be lowered and you can see in the pictures it can easily be done with the screws. She would also like the mirror attached to the wall above the sink. 5. Her kitchen floor planks have become lose and need to be secured and mopped. 6. The trees and brush in her yard needs to be cut back. She has lived in her home for 30 years and raised her kids here. She would greatly appreciate if a small group could help her out with these small tasks. We assess that a team of 8-10 can complete these tasks in 3-4 hours
9403 N Hartts Dr
There are some dead branches and major over growth in Leonard's yard. He is 80% blind and is attempting to do the yard work himself but it is a challenging task. He would be blessed if a group could cut back his overgrowth vegetation and clear the fencing leaning up against his house. Estimate a group of 6 can complete this project in 2-3 hours.
Parade St Off of 52nd
Ms. Sandra is an elderly woman who has received a code violation from the city for a couple of items on the outside of her home. She needed a small crack in her ceiling patched inside, a few spots on her exterior ceiling replaced with drywall (she has the materials), she wanted the exterior of the house painted (~1500sq ft) and finally she wanted the fence door replaced It would be a HUGE blessing to Ms. Sandra to have these items fixed so she doesn't get fined from the city.
4602 E Sewaha Street
Ms. Diane is a 68 y/o woman on limited SSI benefits. She has received a citation from the city of Tampa for code violations. She needs the following 3 items done in order to satisfy the citation. 1) She has a wooden gazebo like structure in her back yard that is too tall per the city. It was built many years ago so will probably be easy to take down (see pic with bike in it) . 2) A tree came down during a storm and damaged her chain linked fence. It needs that section to come down (and get replaced-if possible) It is now covered with brush, vines and debris from the tree - see pic 3) Her lawn is overgrown and needs work. Ms. Diane could REALLY use the help with these items to prevent getting fined by the city. Please help her by getting a team together to bless and minister to her. It is estimated it will take approximately 5-8 volunteer 2-4 hours to do this project - depending if a new fence is put up, then will take move people/longer.

Ms. Eva is an 89 year old disabled woman who cares for her 16 y/o grandson. Her back door was damaged in the storm. It swells up when it rains so she is not able to use it and it is unable to lock. She could use a new door installed. It should take 1-2 volunteers 2 hours to complete this project.

Miss Garcia is a Hispanic elderly woman that has lived at her home for years but needs assistance. Her front and back doors have aged and damaged from the storms and needs to be replaced. If possible, there is also an interior closet door that is badly damaged and in need of replacement, however, the two exterior doors are the priority as they are a safety issue.
7111 Seabury ct
Miss Eileen (61) had a stroke shortly after her open heart surgery and she is the caregiver for her adult disabled son. She is trying her best too keep their heads up with being cited by code enforcement for the fence being damaged from the hurricanes last year. She needs someone to help her and he son out by repairing the fence and if possible repairing the pool. The pool needs to be drained and a pool cover to stop from filling with rain water.
12601 N 52nd street
The homes siding was ripped off from the hurricanes and Mr. Angel recently lost his job. He needs help installing vinyl siding on the side of his home to not be fined from code enforcement. The immediate repairs would be the vinyl siding on the side of his home to not have a tarp anymore. The homeowner, Angel, is wanting the screened area repaired but is out of scope for volunteers. If you are able to fix the screened area and metal poles that would be a blessing but this project is just for the damaged siding. Estimated 4-6 volunteers can fix the siding in 3-5 hours.
7703 Robert E Lee Rd.
The hurricanes from last year caused damage to this family's home. The fence and the soffit on the house have been damaged from a tree falling. The fence is falling in a section and needs two posts re-dug and secured. You can see the panels that have been ripped off and the few that are down on the side of the home and need a few more to go back up. The husband is a Pastor of a Church, and his wife is on medical leave. They have a 17-year-old son living at home and don't have the ability to repair the home after the storm's damage. This should be a very simple job for 2-3 volunteers to complete in 2-3 hours.
2905 W Douglas st
This single mother of 4 girls is in a hard spot with City Code Enforcement about her yard getting out of hand. She needs someone to help her clean up the front of her yard debris and by cutting bushes, mowing, and trimming back the trees. She also has a glass window that is missing a panel and needs a new one installed.
15501 Fentress Ct.
This elderly husband and wife are taking care of two of their grand children who have health issues. They need the interior of their home to be painted. The square footage if the interior is about 2500sq ft. They also need an interior door to be replaced. Estimated 15-20 volunteers can complete this project in 6 hours for these homeowners in need.
5809 E. 30th Ave
Miss Shepherd (75) has a very old front door and needs to be replaced. The front metal cage to the front door needs screen to be installed and with an older cage new screening will be a simple task. The overhang awning from her house had it's roof ripped off from Milton and she would like a tarp to be put up. The dog house on the side of the house needs to be thrown away but hasn't because there is a hole from the dog digging. The tasks would be to thrown away the dog house and fill the hole with rock or cement. This project for Miss Shepherd will take 5-6 volunteers 3-4 hours to complete. PS. Miss Shepherd will bake goods as treats for those who help her!

Miss Bertha is elderly with health issues and her grand daughter is assisting her at her home. She recently got a new roof but the ceiling is sagging from a previous leak and needs to be repaired. The screens for her windows are torn up and she needs them to be repaired/replaced. This work will take 3-4 volunteers 2-3 hours to complete.

This elderly homeowner (70 year old) struggles with the steps to get in and out of her mobile home. For her safety to not fall she is needing a ramp at the front or back door. You can see the pictures below of the two steps to get in. The ramp doesn't need to be big just long and high enough for a slope that she can enter without having a step. This should take 2-3 volunteers 3 hours to complete.

Ms. Moss has two small soft spots in her floor of the mobile home. The is chick carpet that would need to be pulled up to replace 2' by 2' ply section of plywood and the carpet put back. Ms. Moss tries her best to avoid those areas and is desperately seeking help before it get worse.
Norma Drive, Wesley Chapel
Ms. Linda is a retired Nurse who had her second heart attack this last Christmas. Her handrail needs reinforcement and has cause her to fall. She need a screen door handle and slow close installed. A portion of her fence fell from the hurricanes and is no longer there. She would like 40 yards of fence installed so she can let her two dogs out in the backyard. a washing machine hauled off, her deck pressure washed and sealed, the mold on her exterior cleaned (~6ft), and if someone has any expertise with Della AC units she was getting an error code on one. She would greatly appreciate someone to help her with one or any of these areas!

Ms. Louise is a 78 y/o disabled woman who has been cited by the HOA of her MHP. They have given her a deadline of Feb 28th to pressure wash and partially paint (white) her double-wide mobile home. It needs touch up (white) paint on the walls on the side of the carport, and paint (green) on the lower part in the front. The roof needs pressure washed. It would REALLY bless Ms. Louise if you could get a team together and do this for her. She does not go to church and this would be a way to minister to her and be an example of the hands and feet of Jesus! It would take a team of 6 people approximately 4 hours to complete this project.
Downey Place, Wesley Chapel 33545
Miss Elle has a few minor DIY home repairs and maintenance but doesn't have the ability to do it herself. She is requesting a team to help her out with painting her front door and exterior house paint touch ups, installing a new arm on her screened door, replace the weatherstripping on the bottom of her garage door to keep "critters" and inclement weather from coming in, and re-attach the gutter where it has come off. These are minor tasks but would mean the world to this elderly woman.
4511 Land O' Lakes Blvd LOT 6
Mr. Chapman was in the hospital for 6 weeks and just got out. His wife passed in February of this year and has a several minor home repairs needed. The most important is for his tub faucet and kitchen faucet to be replaced. His water heater is not working and he made a plan with Duke Energy to replace the water heater but they won't until his faucets are replaced! He has a soft spots in the floor in the bathroom and kitchen/Livingroom. It most likely would be to replace the plywood in his mobile home. This project will take 4 volunteers 4 hours to complete.

Mr. Nicholas is Greek and goes to St. George Greek Orthodox Church. He is having issues with his bathroom ceiling having water damage and needs to be scraped, mudded/patched, and painted. His shed damaged from getting water from the A/C. There needs to be a piece of aluminum over the A/C to prevent the water damaging the shed. The shed needs two piece of plywood replaced to be repaired. Everything listed so far is part of the CareFest project and if a group is able to repair his fence that would be AMAZING! His fence is damaged and needs 9 panels of fencing to repair his fence. We are able to help supply the materials for everything but the fence panels.

This veteran homeowner, Yolanda, is in need of some assistance with yard work. She needs her grass mowed, palm tree cleaned up by sawing the sides with a pruner, and two big trees are growing towards /over her house. She needs for them to be trimmed back before they grow too big over her house. The gutters need to be cleaned as well. Would you please help bless this Vet?
4754 Canterbury drive
Home owners association is requiring Mrs. Lorraine to fix her fence that was hit hard by the hurricanes. She volunteers as an intercessor with CTN prayer line and was referred to us by them. She is in her 70's and will help pay for the fencing needed but needs help with someone installing and repairing.
4109 Scarlet Maple drive
This elderly, 86 year old, woman is in need of some yard work and replacement of some shingles on her roof. She used to have her yard maintained but hasn't been able to and the front of the yard could use some weeding. There is an area on her roof that she shingles are worn and need to be replaced. Probably one bundle of shingles will suffice.
37838 Cogan Ln., Dade City
1. Yard work- Grass/weeds and brush extremely HIGH and a bush hog is needed to cut it down (Homeowner will show location of septic tank). Once cut team must pick up branches and put in garbage can or by the side of the road. 2. Homeowner has handrails that need to be installed to ramp. The ramp is not in good condition and there are nails protruding which brings a safety concern. Homeowner will be satisfied if the yard work is done.

Mr. Richard is battling cancer and needs some assistance at his home. He's repaired most of the items after we have first talked but needs help with yardwork. There are bushes that need to be trimmed back and some weed/flowers that need to be pulled out. It is simple yardwork and should take 3-4 volunteers 3 hours. Mr. Richard will walk around to show the yard work he needs that he is unable to do because of his treatment. Thank you for adopting this project and blessing Richard!

Mr. John is handicapped with stage 4 kidney disease and working on his health and treatment. Things at his home need some work and he has been cited by Code Enforcement for his backyard and soffit. His backyard needs to be mowed, weeds removed, and removal of debris (mostly astro turf). He has a pool that needs to be pumped out and clean water put in. The soffit on his 2nd story needs to be repaired/replaced (about 4 ft). Somebody Cares doesn't have the equipment to pump the pool but a team of 6-8 can do the yard work and soffit in 4-5 hours.

Ms. Grace is battling cancer and is being taken care of her son and has become wheelchair bound. Her hospice told her that she needs a ramp installed to give her access in and out of her mobile home ASAP. If a group can adopt this project and bless this family during these hard times!

Veteran, Michael is wheelchair bound and needs things to be wheelchair accessible for him. He is needing a ramp built to get in and out of his mobile home and he has one step inside his home that needs to be converted into a ramp. He will help buy the materials needed to make his home wheelchair accessible but needs a group to help him install and build the ramp.

Mr. and Mrs. Chambliss have been a CareFest project since beginning of 2025. Their project was adopted but the group wasn't able to assist them and they submitted again for help! Let's bless this couple and get a group to pressure wash & paint their house! A team of 12-15 can finish this house in 6 hours. It's a pretty simple paint job for a house and will be a great opportunity for a group of friends to bless this couple in need. We can help supply everything needed for this project and drinks! Gather your group and lets do this!
2118 Bell Cheer Drive
Ms. Liz (age 73) lives with her disabled husband (74), and her adult children who have health / disability issues. They are in desperate need for these three projects to be completed for them. 1) They had some storm damage. Someone came and cut the damaged limbs off but left them in the yard so they need cut up and either put on the curb (if allowed by the city) or haul them away and yard is also overgrown and needs taken care of and debris removed. 2) Their front door (metal with glass) is not working correctly. It needs a new door and casing needs adjusted or replaced. 3) There is some wood siding on the back of the house that has rotted and needs replaced and new siding replaced in that area. She has approx. $200-300 she can put towards materials.
4000 24th St. N. Lot 1102 - Silver Lake MHP
Ms. Dina is a disabled woman who just received a mobility scooter to help her get around more easily. However, she has not been able to bring it into her house as she only has steps leading into her mobile home. She needs a ramp built. She has also been told by the MHP that her home needs to be pressure washed and painted (approx. 900 sf) The 3rd project is her flooring was damaged during Hurricane Milton and need to be replaced. She only has sub flooring and some of it needs to be repaired. We told her that is a project that we normally can't do because of the skillset needed, but it depends on the skills of the volunteers. This project can be eliminated from the scope of work if you don't have the skillset to do it. It would be a blessing to have the other two projects done. It would take approximately 5 hours and 5 volunteers to complete the (2) projects- we did not include the flooring in this estimation since we don't normally do that.

Ms. Jeanette is a single elderly woman in Largo. Her house desperately needs painted. It is currently "Pepto Bismol" pink! :o Even though it makes it easy for people to find her, she needs to have it pressure washed and painted. We at Somebody Cares Tampa Bay are able to help provide the supplies for this project to bless Ms. Jeanette. You will need a pressure washer for the house to prep before the paint day! A team of 8-12 people could finish painting this 900 sq ft house in 6 hours. You'll need paint rollers, brushes, trays, a ladder, buckets, rags, and drop cloths. Get a group of friends and spend half a Saturday blessing Ms. Jeanette!

Ms. Yvonne is an elderly woman who takes care of an 11-year-old foster child. She has 3 simple projects that need taken care of. 1) Her home is in need of (outside) painting touchup only in front on the easement. 2)She needs grab bars put up on either side of the commode to make it easier for her to maneuver on/off. 3) There is a set of bi-fold doors that do not stay of the track. It only has an upper track. The flooring is stone so will need a heavy duty drill to put a bottom track in. But if that cannot be done, then fix the upper track so the doors will stay on it. It is loose so they fall off. This will take approximately 2-3 volunteers about 3 hours to complete this project.

Mr. Bill is disabled and has recently had major back and eye surgery. He received in the mail a citation from the Code Enforcement about his house's paint chipping where there are vines growing. There were other items listed about his yard but he is getting those things taken care of. He need someone to help him out and pressure wash and paint his small 1250 sq ft house. It needs to be resolved by Nov 17th but he is requesting an extension. We will supply the pressure washer, paint, and supplies for a team to go and bless this man. The house needs to be pressure washed the week before painting. It will take 4 hours for a team of 15 volunteers to paint the home.

This home has an elderly couple, Mr. and Mrs. Wyatt, are battling health issues and have a friend (blind) that is staying with them. Mr. Wyatt was battling covid for several months which caused them to fall behind in the bills and upkeep at their home. The city code enforcement informed them they need to repair their homes soffit, paint the roofs eves, and porch or they will be fined every month. You can see in the pictures some area need the wood secured, replaced, or new pieces of wood installed. Once the wood repair is completed we asses that the soffit needs to be painted. A group of 4-6 volunteers can complete this in 3-4 hours.

1) The toilet needs work: (removal of toilet, replace wax ring and possibly replace toile floor bolts, caulk when completed. Replace yellow gasket on flush valve to eliminate water running.) 2) When the homeowner, Jane, turns on the water to the sink, the toilet will run. (May need a plumber for this item per evaluator, so do not worry about this part of the project if nobody has the skillset to do it) 3) She has a screen that needs to be replaced in her small porch.(bottom panel needs replacing 8’x 3’, spline will also be needed) 4) She has some sections of her wood fence that has rotted out and needs to be replaced. fence planks (6) are 4" x 6' and (2) are 2" x 2" x 3', and wood screws are needed

This elderly woman (61) is working two jobs full time trying to cover living expenses. She struggles with arthritis and City Code enforcement cited her for her fascia on the front of the house and screens on 2 windows are missing. She desperately needs a group to assist her with repairing her fascia and the missing screens. We estimate a group of 4 can complete this project and bless this woman in 4 hours.

Willie is disabled (67) and lives with his sister. He is also wanting the big tree branch that hangs to the ground cut back and the palm trees cut down. Willie will pay what is needed to discard the trees and branches. The posts at his house were damaged and shifted from the hurricanes. He is wanting the post to be repaired and/or new posts to be installed. He will pay for the materials but needs a group to help him. This project will take 3-5 volunteers 4-5 hours to complete.
16416 US Hwy 19 N LOT 221
Mr. Raymond is blind and 84 years old. He shuffles to walk in his mobile home but struggles to in his kitchen because there are holes in it and lines that cause the floor to be uneven. Small 96 X 108 inch floor space in the kitchen need to be refloored to have an even smooth surface so Mr. Raymond can move safely. We believe that what will work best will be to prepare the floor and remove what is needed to then cut and install linoleum flooring. We estimate 2-3 volunteers can finish this in 4 hours.
1034 Winding Oaks drive
Mr. Wolff works and McDill Air Force Base and is frustrated that the City Code Enforcement gave him violations. He can't afford a contractor and not really sure what he is going to do. Take a look at the pictures below because we know a small group of volunteers can help bring his house back to a look that will relieve him of the violations. The violations is the dirt, mildew, algae, on the side of the house and fascia is a violation. As well as some wood deteriorating. The work would be to pressure wash the house to remove dirt and mold. Get wood plastic patch for a few minor holes and then white minor paint touch ups for the border. If a group wants to also knock out the front yard that would be a blessing! The backyard is a later job Mr. Wolff is going to have someone tackle and wants to resolve the Code Violations. He will be out of town until Sept 30th assisting his mothers health and welcomes volunteers to do the project before but there will be no toilets available on the property.

This elderly woman Sharleen (84), lives with her disabled daughter and son. They are in a hard spot with a section of the ceiling is falling and needs repairs. It is a simple task for a DIY homeowner but not something this family can do. A group of 2-4 volunteers can finish this project in a few hours to bless this family in need.
4760 1st Ave South
On the east side of the house is a 6 fts chain linked fence that is falling. City enforcement informs Ms. Pearl the fence from the sidewalk to the edge of her house can be no higher than 4 ft. The work would be to cut the chain fence down to be no higher that 4 ft and repair the poles. OR if it is easier to remove and install fencing that is 4 ft high. Estimated 4 men can complete this in 3-4 hours. Homeowner has bolt cutter and can pay for supplies if needed.
800 Main st. Lot 385
1. Metal railing on steps to mobile home needs to be secured and the elderly homeowner, Lena, is afraid she will fall. 2. Pressure wash and paint mobile home. Lena will pay for paint and what is needed to repair the railing. Estimated 4-5 volunteers for 5-6 hours to complete
9100 Bay St. NE
Homeowner, Toby, home was damaged from the hurricanes and Toby is trying to restore her home. She has got it ready the best she could to have rooms painted that are in need, about 700 sq feet. She also has small wood fence about 3X6 that is rotten and needs to be replaced with hinges est cost $100. Her garage was damage with flood water but not listed due to it possibly needing to be replaced. This work should take 4 volunteers 4-5 hours to complete. There's more help she needs from the damage of the hurricanes but these are things a volunteer is able to do to bless Toby during this hard time.
46 Birch Creek drive,
For this project the small bathroom needs painting, Mary wants one wall in the bedroom and one wall in the living room to be painted, Mary had a sample of the paint. I would recommend painting all walls in the front room as the new paint won't match the existing even though the paint will be new. Mary would like the inside cleaned and dusted. It is currently in good condition but since her back injury these things have not been cleaned. Cleaning would include mopping floors, vacuuming all carpet and dusting ceiling fans, framed wall pictures, tables etc.. The sink sprayer needs a better sprayer there is water going to the sprayer but will not spray. Mary can pay for paint and sink sprayer. Estimated 4 volunteers 4-5 hours to complete.

The HUGE lawn cleanup portion of this project has been completed. The wood deck is rotten and needs replacements. Jeanie can support the wood deck project with up to 100.00 dollars for supplies. Volunteers needed: at least 2 for the deck work.
